He gives me HIGH doses of Topamax to help (doesn't) and when I return with NO RESULTS or LITTLE (2-3 pound lose a month) he gets upset and I'm not doing enough...ups the Topamax and gives me grief. My appointments are becoming harder and harder to go to. At 5' 10" and 270 pounds I'm marked as being major obese....something I never thought I would be 10 years ago. My health (nothing to do with my weight but the other way around) limits my ability to move.....Everything out there is a NO NO with all my medications. Light and short walks is a major exercise to this body and heart....and with no hope in sight depression is taking over.....Could Akavar help someone like me?
